About

‘A Rural History Of’ is a quest to explore the hidden countryside past embedded within our towns and cities. In some places, this is more obvious, while in others, you have to dig deeper.

Join Joe Levy for a one hour concert taking place in venues throughout South West England. He will perform a selection of pieces that evoke rural themes, drawn from over 800 years of music history. Accompanying Joe is acclaimed pianist Peter Adcock.

In between pieces, you will hear about how the countryside of the past is reflected in the landscapes we see today as well as examining stories and insights into rural life, right on your doorstep!
