About

In this workshop you will be guided through the process of making a Catalan platter woven from locally sourced willow. Create a beautiful centrepiece for your table, or use it as a feature piece for a wall.

You are invited to bring cloth, wool, fleece or fabric which has a special significance to you to weave into your platter.

This relaxing and inclusive workshop is suitable for all abilities and the cost includes all materials and seasonal refreshments.

Tutor: Belinda Martin

Sculptor, designer and climate activist inspired by natural materials to create beautiful items, stimulate connections between people and enthuse hope through creativity. Belinda studied Fine Art in South Africa, Interior decor and design at Plymouth College of Art and Design and has worked internationally as a Climate campaigner in schools, community groups .She is passionate about food and always strives to know more about sustainable solutions which symbiotically work with nature for the greater good of the earth and all its inhabitants.
