Situated in the heart of the city, Exeter Phoenix is a vibrant, multi-purpose venue, offering flexible conferencing and meeting rooms for every type of event. Our building houses art galleries, 4 workshop studios, a theatre/auditorium, a cinema/screening space and a café bar. The building is located in the centre of the city close to hotels, high street shops, public car parks and to the main bus and train stations.

The flexibility of the auditorium encourages a host of conferences, seminars and exhibitions with the added use of four studio rooms. There is a box office, as well as video and lighting equipment available with expert staff on hand. The drama, dance and art studios are a great resource to use for workshops, classes and courses, for informal meetings and as rehearsal space.

A range of brand new, top of the range facilities were built during 2015. These include a new cinema/screening space, a balcony in our main auditorium. Early 2016 saw the completion of a larger digital media suite, and more exciting plans are in the pipeline.

To ensure your event runs smoothly we have a dedicated team managing your booking from start to finish. We can provide technical support and technical equipment is also available for hire. There is the provision of Wi-Fi in the Café Bar.

Exeter Phoenix café bar is on hand at all times to ensure all your hospitality requirements are met. Buffet menus are available as well as a selection of delicious food and a variety of hot and cold drinks which can be ordered from the bar. The café has a fully licensed bar with most of the public spaces licensed for entertainment up until 2am.
