Exeter - a refreshing alternative

Here in Exeter we like to do things differently. We are one of the UK’s most successful cities on so many measures, such as consistent economic growth; education and research, and innovation. But we know how to live too - the city's location on the River Exe, surrounded by countryside and close to the coast offers endless opportunities to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

When it comes to team-building, Exeter is second to none - there is a huge variety of team-building activities on offer here, from a group paddle-board on the Exeter Canal, to getting very muddy on the Bear Trail!

With all of this wide open space it's no surprise Exeter is the most active city in the south west, and this is reflected in the city's sporting successes - Exeter was a Host City to Rugby World Cup 2015, and boasts one of the UK's most prgressive horse-racing tracks. Exeter is a 2,000 year old city, and there are remnants of its rich history around every corner. Exeter Cathedral stands proud in the centre of the city, and is one of the city's most spectacular event venues. The city has a unique location on the River Exe, close to the coast and surrounded by countryside, yet it is easily accessible from all major hubs across the UK - we are just 2 hours by train from London, and even quicker by air to Exeter Airport!
