Don't let the name fool you. We're a husband and wife leadership team, very much in love with our iconic studio. 

Vanessa has been a hair loyalist since a teenager, so a good number of years now! She's known far and wide, particularly for colour and creative cutting, and dedicates every waking minute to mastering her craft. Once a kernel of a dream, having her own space to let fly her identity and design was a 'one day' goal. 

Boy meets girl. You know how it goes. Head over heels for each other, Kal and Vanessa didn't waste any time in melding their lives. Kal secretly chiselled out a promise to his wife, knowing that somehow, a studio he would get her.

The Morgans relocated to Devon, Vanessa being native to Exeter, and Kal spent many months writing and refining a business plan. Keeping their eyes peeled for a premises, they just knew that Fore Street was the home of the nameless salon. And purely by chance, and Vanessa's tenacity, number 150 was secured!

What followed was 3 weeks of solid toil, many late nights and painfully early starts, but they downed tools just in time. Sleepy eyed, Vanessa and Kal took a deep breath and flicked on the neon heart.

A stylised, iconic and unique 6 chair hair studio sprang to life in November 2022. We offer chair rental packages to self employed stylists, or stylists looking to transition from employment. The amount of new business and footfall we get is tremendous, and the street has been so accommodating to our venture.

Some have asked us, "why the name?". And honestly, there is no one answer. All we know is, you see the neon heart sign, the colours, the style we've gone for and you just get it.
