Exeter offers plenty of opportunities for filming. Its historic architecture lends itself well to period productions, and the University of Exeter's modern Forum building was recently used as a backdrop for Broadchurch.
Exeter City Council encourages filming in the city, and can provide help and information on obtaining permissions, location suggestions, and advice on risk assessments, parking and accommodation.
Visit Exeter City Council's filming in Exeter page for more information and to apply for persmission to film in Exeter.
If you need further assistance with casting, crew and equipment, locations, travel or paperwork, the Fixstars can help with all aspects of filming in the south west.
