The Farmers market has proved very popular with the residents of Exeter, we have approximately 20 stalls, and most of the producers have been with the market for a long time. It is an opportunity for people to really taste the freshly picked and reared produce, which sometimes gets overlooked when produced in high volume for consumers in supermarkets, and provides the seasonal variety for customers to try. Having a local Farmers Market in Exeter creates a way of establishing a direct relationship between the producer and the customer, and allows the customer to enjoy purchasing such quality produce from the local area.
The market is every Thursday at Fore St/South Street Junction form 9am-2pm, our producers sell a range of products including Pork, Veal, Lamb, Venison, Game, Poultry, Fish, Fruit & vegetables, Beer, Honey, Bread, Cakes, Coffee, Pies and Pasties, Indian pickles.
