An independently organised TED event

About

Committed to showcasing ideas worth spreading within Exeter's student community, we are hosting Exeter's first ever TEDx Youth event this November. TEDx Youth Gandy Street is an independently organised youth conference arriving virtually in Exeter on November 21st, 2020. We are an event focused on spreading the innovative and pioneering ideas of young people throughout Exeter. Our goal is to 'bridge the gap' by creating a sustainable and collaborative future for generations to come.

Our event is an independently organised conference held on licence from TED. Organised and presented by the Exeter student community; the conference will involve young local speakers presenting inspiring and thought-provoking talks on wide ranging topics all following the overarching theme of "bridging the gap". With a dedicated team working to source interesting speakers and a lively audience, we look forward to hosting an event that enables students to engage with new and exciting ideas beyond traditional academic settings.

Speaker applications are open at the moment, so if you feel that you have ideas worth spreading and want to play a part in bridging the gap, apply to speak today! Applications are open until the 7th September.

You can apply here at: bit.ly/gandyspeakerapps

We look forward to hearing about what issues matter to you! Please follow us on social media @tedxyouthgandystreet to keep up to date with the conference as we release more details. Or you can pop us an email at communications@tedxyouthgandystreet.com and we would love to have a chat.
