1. The Organiser of the Autumn in Exeter Photography Competition is Visit Exeter, the tourism department of Exeter City Council
3. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered.
4. You are responsible for gaining the correct approvals and consents for anyone under the age of 18 who features in entered photographs.
5. Entries must be provided in a digital format, JPEG format. Minimum file size 1MB to qualify.
6. Entries should include the Image Title and Name of Photographer
7. By submitting your photograph(s) for the competition, you agree to grant Visit Exeter/Exeter City Council the right to publish free of charge, and to allow associated third parties (including, but not limited to, InExeter, which is the Business Improvement District for Exeter) to publish the photograph online, in print and in all media as required.
8. Employees of Visit Exeter, plus their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
9. All images may be digitally enhanced to reduce spots and scratches, but not manipulated.
10. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Organiser reserves the right to change any aspect of the competition, at any time, without notice.
13. Deadline for all entries is Friday 29th November 2024.
14. A panel of judges will shortlist images and select the winning photo from there.
16. The Prize is a £100 InExeter Gift Card, which can be used in over 50 independent businesses across Exeter and is valid for 12 months from date of activation. (For information on where to spend it visit https://inexetergiftcard.co.uk/where-to-spend/).
17. The Prize for the three runners-up is a £25 InExeter Gift Card, valid for 12 months from date of activation
14. The winner of the competition will be notified by Friday 6th December 2024.
15. The Organiser will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using the contact details supplied upon entry. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of the first notification, then the winner forfeits the right to claim the Prize. The Organiser shall not be responsible should the winner provide incorrect contact or delivery details.
15. Competition winner names may be published on the Visit Exeter website, social media accounts and in marketing emails.
16. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. The information you provide will only be used in the administration of the competition.
