You don't have to be the brain of Britain to enjoy a quiz night out, it's all about having fun with your friends and you never know what you might learn.

Fingers on buzzers! It's time to get quizzical with our round-up of quiz nights in Exeter.

The Hour Glass

Monday night is quiz night down at The Hour Glass and with top prizes of cash and beer, what more of an incentive do you need to stretch the little grey cells. It's not all about winning though as the pub serves up an assortment of local real ales, ciders and ever-changing wine specials menu as well as offering food dishes centred entirely around local produce.

The Old Firehouse

The Old Firehouse on Monday night is where you'll find Terry and Jude's crazy quiz and just as the name suggests, well it's rather crazy! Expect lots of laughs, lush boozy prizes and even if you're not a quiz master then you're still onto a winner with their delicious 14” square pizzas and array of drinks.

Brewdog

Team work is the name of the game at Brewdog for their Tuesday night 'Mind Games: Quiz Night. There's a £30 bar tab up for grabs but happy hour also runs from 8pm until closing time so everyone's a winner here. Make sure you book in advance to secure a table.

The Turk's Head

Steeped in history and believed to be a favourite watering hole of Charles Dickens, you might want to to brush up on your history and literature for the Turks Head Sunday night quiz. The perfect way to wrap up your weekend, arrive in plenty of time as it's walk-ins only and you're going to want a table to gather your team-mates around.

Artigiano

Pizza, drinks and a quiz - sounds like a perfect combination to us as Artigiano host a weekly quiz night every Tuesday. For added incentive there's a £50 bar tab awarded to the lucky winners but it won't be the questions providing the biggest challenge, rather trying to decide which delicious pizza you'll tuck into. Spolier alert... there's no actual correct answer as they're all a winning choice.
