Join us for a fascinating evening, with barrister, broadcaster, author, advocate and musician, Rob Rinder MBE.
Rob will be discussing his life and work in conversation with The Very Revd Jonathan Greener, Dean of Exeter. He will also be answering questions from the audience, and sign copies of his Sunday Times number one best-selling novels, The Trial and The Suspect.
All proceeds from this event will be used to support our work to make Exeter Cathedral more accessible and welcoming for everyone.

About Rob Rinder MBE:
A criminal barrister, Rob Rinder was called to the bar in 2001, eventually specialising in cases involving international fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes.
Rinders television career has included ITV courtroom reality series, Judge Rinder, Judge Rinders Crime Stories, Judge Rinders Crown Court, competing in BBC Ones Strictly Come Dancing, BBC genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?, and hosting Channel 4 series, The Rob Rinder Verdict.
In November 2020, Rinder released My Family, the Holocaust and Me for BBC 1, a documentary which helped Jewish families uncover the stories of their relatives during the Holocaust. He began presenting ITVs Good Morning Britain in 2022, and in 2023 co-presented BBC 2s The Holy Land and Us: Our Untold Stories a two-part documentary exploring the personal stories of families of Jewish and Palestinian heritage.
Last year, BBC 2 aired Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour series, and in July 2024, Rinder presented the Channel 4 documentary, Britain Behind Bars.
In radio, Rinder presented Robert Rinders Classical Passions on ClassicFM, and Raising the Bar on BBC Radio 5 Live, and was permanent host of talkRADIOs Drivetime show.
As a writer, Rinder has been a columnist for both The Sun and the London Evening Standard, and in 2023 he wrote his first novel, The Trial, followed a year later by The Suspect both becoming Sunday Times number one best-sellers.
In 2021, Rinder was appointed MBE for services to Holocaust education and awareness.
He was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from Southampton Solent University in 2022, and Honorary Degree of Doctor of Literature (D.Litt) from University College London in 2024. Passionate about music, Rinder was also appointed as the Honorary Deputy Colonel Commandant of The Royal Corps of Army Music in January 2024.
