Autocamper-
With enough melancholic charm and a cardigan collection that would make eveny Stephen Pastel blush, Autocamper are the perfect pop tonic to Manchester's post-punk machismo. Like a northern kitchen sink rendering of The Vaselines call and response motif, their wide-eyed reflections on unrequited romances, bedroom tiffs and hungover misdemeanors effortlessly retrofits the jangle pop sounds of the 80s without the C86 revisionism.
Bramwell-
Melodic and wonky, striking a satisfying balance between jangle pop and weird,
jagged punk -Magic realism-tinged lyricism and a hypnotic climax that allows you to sink into the song.
Bramwell began writing and distilling their diverse formative musical influences to create a sound that pays homage to the raw energy of early proto-punk guitar noise, infused with a modern post-punk jangle rock sensibility.
