Christmas comes to Guildhall Shopping Centre as late night shopping begins every Thursday from 21st November until 19th December, along with several exciting new store openings, and lots of fantastic entertainment to get you in the festive mood.
Mean, green and grumpy. Get ready to dive into the Christmas spirit as the Guildhall lights up for the season on Friday 15th November with a special guest switching on the lights. Come on down to Market square from 4pm!
On 23rd November there's an opportunity to meet and play with gentle Star Bears – mama Ursa and her starry cub Little Bear! Accompanied by sweet music, they love to meet people, enjoy being stroked and played with.
Listen for the screech of burning rubber and no pavement is safe as the only shopping trolley dance display team make a popular return to Guildhall Shopping Centre on the weekend of 30th November and 1st December. Granny Turismo will be arriving on their souped-up shopping trolleys and they're a force to be reckoned with!
The popular annual toy drive is also making a welcome return, with drop off locations located outside Wilko and on the first floor by Little Exeter, until Sunday 22nd December.
Saturday 9th November – The Entertainer opens with a full day of activities, including Radio Exe broadcasting throughout the day, face painters, balloon artists and character visits for all-round family entertainment.
Friday 15th November – The Grinch will be guest of honour in turning on the Guildhall Shopping Centre Christmas lights.
Thursday 21st November - Late night shopping until 9pm.
Saturday 23rd November - Star Bears walk around from 11am - 4pm.
Thursday 28th November - Late night shopping until 9pm.
Friday 29th November - Ludo opens
Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December - Granny Tourismo walk around from 11am - 4pm
Thursday 5th December - Late night shopping until 9pm.
Saturday 7th December - Santa Paws with Father Christmas from 11am - 4pm. Bring your four legged friend to meet Father Christmas, each dog goes away with a branded tennis ball and a great photo opportunity.
Thursday 12th December - Late night shopping until 9pm.
Thursday 19th December - Late night shopping event with SPARKS drummers and music until 9pm.
