Jon Dasilvas career as a DJ and producer has spanned over three decades, with releases on renowned labels like Ellum Audio, Rush Hour, Soma, and Mute. Notably, his collaboration with Maceo Plex earned the Best House Track award at the International Dance Awards in 2012-13 for Love Somebody Else. He continues to innovate with his band, The Virgo Mechanically Replayed, and his label Moiré Product, which debuted in 2018. Dasilvas influence is highlighted by DJ Moonboots, who recalls his genre-defying sets at The Hacienda, where he seamlessly blended disco, house, and experimental soundscapes, leaving a lasting impact on the Balearic scene.
