We now know so much about the impact of trauma on the mind but what about our bodies? Let’s explore the profound connection between trauma and the body in this empowering talk designed to foster healing and resilience. Through a combination of cutting-edge research, somatic practices, and reflective exercises, attendees will gain insight into how trauma manifests physically and affects overall well-being.
This talk is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of trauma, including individuals on a healing journey, caregivers, and mental health Professionals.
Guided by experienced Dr Ravi Gill, attendees will engage in safe, interactive sessions that emphasise the body’s role in processing and releasing trauma. Techniques such as mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle movement will be explored to support nervous system regulation and restore a sense of safety within the body. Leave with practical tools, renewed self-awareness, and a deeper appreciation of the body’s innate capacity to heal.
Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!
