Deciding where to stay during your couples and friends holiday in South Devon has never been easier. Not to mention the Eastdon Estate cottages have private hot tubs waiting for you to use at your leisure! If you’re planning on bringing your furry friend, there are pet-friendly cottages too – it’s not fair for them to miss out on the fun is it?

Cofton's modern holiday caravans are also an option for your party if you’d like to stay on-site instead. Brand new for 2020 are the Tamar 4-6 berth homes, these contemporary caravans are fitted with an electric fire, a LCD TV with a Blue-Ray player along with outdoor patio furniture.... aaaand relax!

Activities and facilities

The cottages and apartments are nestled approximately 2 miles from the main Cofton site, both joined together by an idyllic woodland walk. This location is a generous distance to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, but close enough to take advantage of Cofton’s fantastic on-site facilities. Take a dip in the heated indoor pool then treat yourself to some well-deserved “me time” on the hydrotherapy loungers, bubbling waterjets and sauna and steam room. You and your friends will probably be too relaxed to cook, so save yourself from washing up and enjoy a sumptuous meal at Amelia’s Pantry or Warren’s Retreat – you’ll be spoiled for choice when choosing from the locally-sourced menus!

If you think the entertainment at Cofton Holidays is just for children then you’re mistakeably wrong! The evening schedule is packed with performances for adults too! From 9:45pm each night during peak season, there is the star-time cabaret with acts ranging from tribute singers, illusionists to live bands. Dance the night away at the Warren Retreat, then finish your evening with a cold Devon cider in the Swan Pub – a pint of pure gold!

Cofton and beyond…

When it’s time for you and your group to venture beyond Cofton you won’t be disappointed. It wouldn’t be a Devon holiday if your visit didn’t include getting sand between your toes at one of Devon's golden beaches. Located at the Eastdon Estate, you’ll be a short drive to Dawlish and Dawlish Warren’s beaches. You could even take the trip across the estuary on the Starcross Ferry and give Exmouth a visit!

At Cofton we’re lucky to have the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail and the South West Coastal Path on our doorstep. So whether you’re on bike or foot you won’t miss out on the stunning scenery that the South West Coast has to offer.

If you fancy jumping in the car and exploring a little further, Exeter is approximately a 30-minute drive from the main site. This capital city is rich in history, has endless dining opportunities and popular high street brands for you to shop ‘til you drop. Sit and have a coffee within the beautiful Cathedral grounds and wander down to the popular Quayside – Exeter has everything a group of pals need for a busy city day visit! Don’t forget you can hop on a bus just outside of the main Cofton site, or if you’re feeling active you can ride your bike along the Exe Estuary Cycle Path!

Event weekends

How does a weekend away with your friends filled with fantastic live music and exciting shows sound? At Cofton Holidays, there are multiple themed weekends – which means there’s more than likely going to be a weekend suited to you and your friends!

Each individual music taste will be catered for throughout the year at Cofton Holidays. Put the Country & Western Week in your diaries, along with The Ultimate Nineties and Noughties Weekend and Soul and Mo-Town Weekend. It might be time to raid your wardrobe for your best fancy-dress outfits!

Cofton’s American Car Weekender is the most popular annual event. With over 100 American and Canadian cars that attend, this is the perfect event for any motor fanatic. Not to mention across the weekend sees live music, entertainment, a dog show and PLENTY of street food.
