If you didn't know already, Canonteign Falls is a spectacular natural attraction in the heart of Devon. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks through the woodland and lakes, plus families can enjoy the play areas in the gorgeous gardens. Not to mention you can visit the gaze at the highest waterfall in Dartmoor National Park, which also happens to be the highest man-made waterfall in England...

Once you've finished exploring the outdoors you would have probably built up quite the appetite! You can find the Canonteign Kitchen back at the entrance, where homemade, locally-sourced dishes await.

The décor has to be mentioned - the café pops with pretty pastel colours, bunting and twinkling fairy lights. If it's a little chilly outside, the fire roars as you walk in, surrounded by leather sofas with plenty of cushions - we bet you feel warm and cosy just imagining it!

Canonteign Falls has just launched a new spring menu, packed with sandwiches, toasties (both can be made gluten free!) and deli dishes including quiches, pies and scotch eggs!

Breakfast is now served until 11:30am, perfect if you'd have an early morning walk or you want to fill your boots before you set off exploring the grounds. Expect traditional fry-ups with veggie options, bagels and pancakes with your choice of either bacon and maple syrup or fresh fruit and berry compote - either sound absolutely delicious! Check out the spring menu here - warning this will probably make your mouth water!

Fancy something sweet? Of course you do! At Canonteign Kitchen, you can dig into a delightful afternoon tea with includes a sandwich, two hand-baked scones with jam and clotted cream, a slice of cake and tea or coffee for two - all for £20 for two people! If it's just the freshly-baked scones that you have your eye own, select the cream tea option for £6.50. A wide selection of cakes and other sweet treats are also available, from just £3.50!

That's not all foodies - during the weekends and school holidays, the Canonteign Kitchen snack bar serves light bites, hot drinks and even ice creams! Sit and relax on the outdoor terrace as you admire the Dartmoor sights beyond or take your treats with you around the park...
