February is a month of romance and if you love rugby then you're not going to want to miss any of the Six Nations action, which kicks-off on Friday 2nd February.
Exeter is home to a great choice of places to watch the games live and get behind your country, and of course you'll want to enjoy something to eat and drink as you cheer on your team.
The Turk's Head
Rugby, burger and a beer - what a winning combination! There's no need to jostle for the best view as the Turk's Head has five screens showing the action and win, lose or draw the drinks will certainly be flowing courtesy of their very own in-house micro brewery. If you also fancy a bite to eat then there's no subsitute for the burgers from residents Eat the Bird.
The Old Firehouse
Grab your team-mates and head to The Old Firehouse where they'll be showing all the big games, with great food and plentiful drinks. To help keep your energy and support levels up then you'll want to tuck into their famous square pizzas. Don't miss out on scoring the best seats in the house as you can also book their Attic Bar but you'll need to be quick as it's a popular spot.
Dining at Cofton Holidays
For a real taste of the Six Nations then head on down to Cofton Holidays where not only will they be showing all the matches but serving up a real treat of international themed burgers and hot dogs. Check out this winning line-up:
Wales - Minted lamb burger with sauté leeks melted cheddar and crispy onions
Scotland - Chargrilled venison burger topped with melted blue cheese, whisky fried onions, and a fried egg
Ireland - Foot long rare and pasture hot dog topped with Guiness BBQ glaze and homemade potato match sticks
England - Chargrilled beef burger topped with shredded brisket, melted cheddar, homemade onion rings and smoked streaky bacon
France - Chargrilled Beef burger topped with caramelised red onion chutney, crispy camembert and rocket
Italy - Foot long rare and pasture hot dog topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella and pepperoni
The Dugout
With massive screens, deliciously dirty food and top quality beers, The Dugout at Hotel Indigo is a great place to simply kick back and watch all the rugby action. If rugby's not your thing then there's plenty of other live sporting action to keep fans, friends and families entertained all year round.
Brewdog
If you plan on watching any games with your mates then it's worth booking a table at Brewdog for a free round of drinks. Don't leave it until the last minute to score a place though as this is always a popular spot when the rugby is on. Located in the Guildhall Shopping and Dining Centre, it's just a short stroll to Exeter Central train station.
