January

Stepcote Hill is one of Exeter's oldest and most picturesque streets. Our followers loved these pictures from January 2024 of this historic street and the House That Moved, also one of Exeter's most famous landmarks.

February

Gandy Street is another of Exeter's famous streets. Its historic cobbles and quirky independent shops make it the perfect Instagrammable location!

March

World Book Day was the 7th March, and as a UNESCO City of Literature there's no way we were missing out on the opportunity to shout about Exeter's incredible literary connections! 

April

In April the City of Literature theme continued, as we invited @a_rosieworld to visit Exeter's literary sights.

May

May saw the return of Exeter Pride, one of the largest free Pride events in the country!

June

As the summer arrived, we highlighted all of the fantastic outdoor activities on offer in Exeter.

July

Exeter's West Quarter is home to some of the city's most historic buildings and landmarks, as well as being renowned locally as the place to go for indie eats, retro and vintage clothing, books and records. 

August

Some of the most spectacular views of Exeter are from the roof of Exeter Cathedral! Roof tours run throughout the year and explore the roof void high above the Nave, into the South Tower, the Lead Room and the Ringing Chamber and then through the spaces of the North Tower.

September

In September, we went for a wander around Exeter Quayside, one of the most beautiful parts of the city, and snapped some of its historic features.

October

In October the beautiful autumn colours made an appearance in Exeter, alongside blue skies!

November

Winter scenes arrived early in the city, as Exeter was covered in a blanket of snow!

December

Exeter Cathedral's Christmas Market provided many snap-worthy opportunities for the 'Gram! This wonderfully atmospheric annual market has over a hundred festive chalets, and two bars, one of which has roaring open log fires - perfect to get you into the festive spirit!
