Maker Maker reflects the hearts and passions of husband and wife team Rupert & Anita, who between them sew, pot, paint, and play ukulele!
Against the charming backdrop of carefully curated antique furniture, the shop provides a display of high quality tools, beautiful fabrics, materials for makers and home furnishings; Merchant & Mills, Colourman Paint, Cambridge Imprint, St. Eval Candles to name but a few... and not forgetting an impressive wall of stunning ukuleles!

In November 2019 we were contacted by a researcher working on behalf of Visa and The Guardian. He had been searching the length and breath of the UK to find small independent owner run business, offering something different to traditional shops within community. We were one of three shops invited to make a film and be part of the 'Where You Shop Matters' - Christmas TV advert for Visa 2019.
