Discovery Trail
Our all-ability trail with fun features for children, ideal for riders of all ages who are gaining their confidence. With stunning views across Exeter and Dartmoor, please be aware that this trail is shared with walkers.
Spicers Trail (Blue Grade)
This trail is a great confidence builder, introducing a combination of surfaces with some narrow sections and gentle gradients. Spicers is the next step for those who have mastered the basics of cycling and are ready to move on from the Discovery Trail. Please note, there is a short 'two-way traffic' section near the beginning of the trail.
Kiddens Trail (Blue Grade)
Progress from the Spicers Trail with this singletrack trail offering more challenging terrain with greater changes in gradient.
Ridge Ride Trail (Red Grade)
This trail follows Haldon ridge and explores some of the most beautiful parts of the forest. This is a technical, fast and flowing trail with tight corners and lively descents to test your reflexes. This trail is for experienced riders only, with appropriate bikes and protective equipment.
Ridge Cafe
When you can pedal no more, refuel at the Ridge Cafe with a selection of delicious homemade light bites and cakes.

Travelling by car turn off the A38 at Exeter Racecourse and follow the signs for Haldon Forest Park. If using sat nav, our post code will take you to the Forestry England offices, not the Forest Park. Please follow the road signs to the main entrance.
