About

Join Art Work Exeter for the next iteration of Patter Scatter, as an Art SOUP!

Art SOUP is an event that we've run previously - it supports artists to pitch their work and get supported by their peers through micro-funding.

This evening will see artists pitching using the Patter Scatter format - 20 slides at 20 seconds each - described as a verbal and visual nutribullet!

Instead of funding, they will be pitching to get a commission, running a Socially Engaged Practice project in a community setting.

The 3 successful artists will be working with The Birdhouse in Pinces Gardens, or Parklife in Heavitree, or Sylvania Stores in Stoke Hill area.

As an audience member, you'll get to experience the pitches, ask questions, enjoy a shared supper of soup and bread, then cast your vote as to who should get which commission, where! Based on previous events like this (we ran SOUPs in 2017 and 2018) it's going to be an entertaining and sociable evening with a real creative buzz - an ideal way to step into spring with some like-minded members of the cultural scene!
