Kim Edgar is a Scottish singer/songwriter and musician. She performs as a solo artist and with Irish folk band Cara. She has performed widely, including on Later With Jools, The Cambridge Folk Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe.
With five critically acclaimed solo albums under her belt, Kim has been described as "an example of everything that's great about contemporary music" and "probably one of the best songwriters in Britain today." (Spiral Earth). Kim's latest album, CONSEQUENCES (2023), an album of twelve collaborations with songwriters she admires, including Ron Sexsmith, Rachel Sermanni, Boo Hewerdine and Horse McDonald, has been described as "diverse, satisfying and sumptuous" and "a persuasive exploration of human inter-connectedness amid an uncertain world" (The Scotsman).
CONSEQUENCES was launched at Celtic Connections 2023. This is a rare chance to hear Kim perform in the South West. This is a The Drewe Arms Community Pub event kindly hosted by Drewsteignton Holy Trinity Church.
