Life Drawing Experience – Saturday, 19th April
An Afternoon of Art, Relaxation, and Inspiration in a Unique Historic Setting
Join us this Saturday for a special Life Drawing Experience at our 300-year-old family-run property, nestled only 15 miles from Exeter city. Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply curious to try something new, this welcoming and creative afternoon is the perfect chance to unwind, connect with your creativity, and enjoy the beauty of the human form in a supportive and relaxed environment.
What is Life Drawing?
Life drawing is the artistic practice of drawing the human figure from a live model. It's an excellent way to develop your observation skills, explore different drawing techniques, and immerse yourself in the flow of creativity. All levels are welcome – from complete beginners to experienced artists – and you'll be guided and encouraged at your own pace throughout the session.
A Unique Setting
Weather permitting, the session will be held in our private gardens, surrounded by woodland, nature, flowers, and the charm of our historic home. The tranquil atmosphere creates a truly special environment for creativity to flourish. Should the weather not be on our side, the event will move indoors to our elegant drawing room, filled with character and calm.
Homemade Tea & Cake Break
Halfway through the afternoon, we'll take a break for afternoon homemade tea on our lovely patio. It's a chance to connect with others, share your work (if you wish), and soak up the atmosphere of being present in nature.
This is more than just an art class – it's a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself through creative expression.
