About

Unleash your imagination and embark on an exciting journey of self-discovery in this engaging workshop for all ages! Join local artist Scotty Gillespie as he guides you to explore your inner warrior and delve into the transformative world of fiction to craft your own personal shrine. Fiction serves as a powerful tool for those seeking representation and agency. It opens the door to explore facets of your identity that you may not feel ready to confront in the real world, allowing for a deeper understanding of yourself. Drawing inspiration from the beloved role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, you’ll embark on a quest to navigate your own identity. Armed with a character sheet and a variety of art supplies, your imagination will be your only limit. Join us for an adventure of creativity, reflection, and connection. Workshop Highlights: What to Bring: Although materials are provided, participants are encouraged to bring: Benefits of the Workshop: Suggested Preparations: Please bring lunch and snacks with you if you wish.
