The Fairytale New Year's Eve Party 2025

Sunday 31st December, 8pm - 1am

Step into a world of enchantment, where dreams do come true, as you are cordially invited to The Fairytale New Year's Eve Party, hosted by Exeter Phoenix.

 Join us for a magical evening where dreams come true and the clock strikes midnight – but no one turns into a pumpkin. This will be a night for the storybooks!

You’ll find five rooms with a magical combination of live music, performance and DJs to suit the tastes of princesses, princes, dragons and trolls everywhere.

  • Ice Queen’s Palace – Let our house band put a spell on you until the stroke of midnight, then onwards to our legendary silent disco.
  • Gingerbread Cottage bar – featuring edible decorations and a party atmophere.
  • Three Little Pigsty – Where we will blow the house down with a night of house and club classics.
  • Princess Prosecco Bar – The perfect place to relax after a long day of adventuring.

Sprinkle a little fairy dust and join in for one night where we all live happily ever after - at least until the next morning!

The Ivy

This New Year’s Eve, The Ivy Exeter is inviting guests to be transported into the magical realm of the circus and enjoy a night of fabulous food, drink, and dazzling entertainment.

The Ivy will also be catering for the morning after the night before with a flavour-packed New Year’s Day Brunch. Guests can start off their New Year’s Day with a hot and savoury Bloody Mary followed by three courses and a side dish to help start the year right and aid in any recovery that may (or may not) be needed! Exeter Golf and Country Club

Celebrate an exceptional New Year's Eve with fizz, food and festivities on the menu at Exeter Golf and Country Club. For those who like to wine and dine then book yourself the New Year’s Eve Dinner in their Wear Park Restaurant, but if you’re more about the party then get your dance shoes on for the New Year's Eve Ball, with one of the region’s best DJs taking you through until 1am.

Stuart Line Cruises

Take time out of the busy festive season to sit back, relax and set sail with Stuart Line Cruises. They're operating tours throughout the festive period, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and are a great way to soak up on the calm and sheltered waters of the River Exe. Don't worry if it's a little chilly out on the water as their boats have covered and heated lower decks, with cosy blankets, and there's hot drinks available on board. With live, informative and interesting commentary, these cruises are just the ticket to get everyone out and about during the festive season!

Exeter Racecourse

With seven races, a fantastic atmosphere, and excellent racing, you'll kick-start your New Year the right way on Wednesday 1 January 2025 at Exeter Racecourse. If you really fancy celebrating the new year in style then you can also enjoy a day at the races with a hospitality package.

Pantomimes

2024 - it's behind you, well almost! You can't beat a good old fashioned pantomime over the festive season and there's not one but three performances to choose from. Peter Pan takes to the stage at the Corn Exchange on the 31st December and 1st January while Cinderella performs twice at the Northcott Theatre on New Year's Eve before returning on the 2nd January. You can also catch Beauty and the Beast at Barnfield Theatre

On the Waterfront

Famed for the gigantic pizza's, you can go big or go home at On the Waterfront on New Year's Eve. Fun for all the family, there'll be sparklers for kids and a DJ from 10pm until the clocks strikes midnight. 

Hotel Indigo

For new year with a city view then Hotel Indigo is the place to be. Feast on a delicious buffet dinner in Colson’s and dance the night away with a live DJ in their underground bar before toasting the New Year with a complimentary glass of bubbly in their rooftop bar, where a stunning fireworks display will light up the skyline.

Hotel du Vin

Raise a glass and celebrate with your loved ones at Hotel du Vin on New Year's Eve. Treat yourself to a 3-course meal from their seasonal à la carte menu, along with some decadent dishes on their specials menu. If celebrating the actual first day of the new year is more your thing then how about a lavish and leisurely feast for lunch and a glass of Champagne. Help yourself to the choice of appetisers from their French Market Table, all followed by classic dishes, wonderful roasts and delicious desserts.

If you really want to indulge and celebrate the new year in style then Hotel du Vin also offer a New Year's Eve stay package where you'll be treated to a luxurious room along with dinner, Champagne and breakfast.
