About

The key to convincing fiction is getting the facts right - a challenge for an author writing about a period in many people’s living memory. How does a writer check they haven’t made a gaffe and who at their publisher forensically picks the manuscript apart checking for errors? Jennie Godfrey’s bestselling debut is set during the period of the Yorkshire Ripper killings. Rebecca is a freelance editor who previously worked on titles at Penguin Random House. Over her career she has worked with Sunday Times bestselling authors and high-profile names, including Sir Michael Caine’s debut thriller.
