Award winning performance artist, Eli Lewis & internationally touring choreographer, Joe Garbett are a queer couple who make dance together. Their creative collaboration is an unlikely one, joyously smooshing together two very different ways of making dance. Eli finds playful ways to embrace risk and uncertainty through their artistic practice. They make slow, suspenseful balancing acts that bring audiences to the edges of their seats. Joe makes outdoor dance that bursts from unlikely spaces with joyful energy. He is passionate about bringing people together in creative exchange, play and silliness.
A bizarre kaleidoscope of colour, movement & queerness. Plue is a queer disappearing act, a mesmerising new dance performance that invites people to reflect on and discuss the fluctuating degrees LGBTQIA+ people feel seen and pressured to camouflage.
