This well-known work by Rossini has an ultimate fusion of musical styles (secular and sacred) offering something tantalising and rewarding for all concertgoers. It is neither small nor solemn and more of an opera than a liturgical mass with appealing and memorable music for performers and audience alike.
The performance is dedicated to the memory of our former musical director Nigel Perrin who sadly died in June 2024.
