In this camp stand-up show, award-winning drag king Loose Willis channels the Bard to explore queerness and gender fluidity throughout English history.
What a piece of work is a man!
Award-winning drag king Loose Willis has been using his ample wit and more-than-ample codpiece to charm audiences for 10 years.
Now this "darkly hilarious" (The Stage) comic is delighted to bring you his new raucous stand-up show: "An Audience with William Shakesqueer".
Hot off his recent performances at The Globe, on the West End and for the Shakespeare Association of America, Loose channels the Bard in this Elizabethan cabaret extravaganza, exploring drag, queerness and gender fluidity throughout English history.
Praise for "Shakesqueer":
"In using humor to invite reflection on more serious matters, including misogyny, sexual harassment, and queer and trans rights, Loose Willis offers a masterclass on how performance can be used for social change while being fabulously entertaining." Shakespeare Bulletin
