UK consumers spend over £30b on clothing each year, but less than 2% of it is made here. Fashion designer Patrick Grant, best known for his role as judge of the BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee, will share his love for clothes but dislike of the way they’re made, everything wrong with the three trillion dollar fashion industry today and how we can set it right. He’ll explain how, when it comes to wardrobe essentials, less is more, and how valuing quality, craftsmanship and local manufacturing matters for the future.
